440 Series Signal Conditioning

The 440 Series of modular signal conditioners is a flexible, compact signal conditioning solution. Up to 128 channels of signal conditioning can be placed in a single standard 19" rack, with various options available. Chassis can be linked together, further expanding the system's scalability. Options exist for charge mode conditioning, bank switching, and more.

 

Step 1 Select Chassis
- based on size of test (9 slot allows up to 128 channels of conditioning in 19" rack) and power requirements
441A33 3-slot chassis. 1 slot dedicated for power, 2 slots available for signal conditioning
441A39 9-slot chassis. 1 slot dedicated for power, 8 slots available for signal conditioning or bank switching
441A101 AC Power Module
441A102 DC Power Module for DC power, also includes battery for very short term (30 minute) standalone operation

Step 2 Select Input Cards
- based on test requirements
442A117 Basic 16-channel ICP sensor module, DB50 input, VXI output connectors
442A119 16-channel ICP sensor module with TEDS capability. DB50 input, VXI output connectors
442A122 Similar to 442A119 but adds per-channel 1x 10x 100x gain, and supports bank switching
442A126 Similar to gain and TEDS in 442A122 and adds selectable low pass filter
441A175 Bank Switch Output Module, facilitates output of multiple 16 channel banks
442A104 4-channel ICP sensor signal conditioner module, 4-channel, gain x1, x10, x100, BNC input/output
443A101 Single channel dual mode vibration amplifier, for conditioning charge and ICP sensors double-wide module

 

Step 3 If Required: Select Patch Panels
- to interface sensor inputs with DB50 input of 16-channel 442-series cards
070C21 16-channel input patch panel, (16) IDC to (1) 50-pin connector, used with ribbon cables used on 333B sensors
070C29 16-channel input patch panel (0.5"x7"x1.5"), (16) IDC and (16) BNC inputs to (1) 50-pin connector

 

Step 4 If Required: Select Cabling
- to interface patch panels to inputs and output cabling based on requirements (BNC or VXI type)
009H10 Shielded 16 channel DB50 type ribbon cable, 50 pin to 50 pin connector, connects patch panel to 440 series, 10ft
009H25 Shielded 16 channel DB50 type ribbon cable, 50 pin to 50 pin connector, connects patch panel to 440 series, 25ft
009H100 Shielded 16 channel DB50 type ribbon cable, 50 pin to 50 pin connector, connects patch panel to 440 series, 100ft
009L05 Shielded multiconductor output cable, HP VXI to 4 BNC plugs, 5 ft
009S08 Shielded multiconductor output cable, HP VXI to HP VXI connectors, 8 ft
009P05 Shielded multiconductor output cable, 2 HP VXI to HP compatible DB-50 pin connectors, 5 ft (not common)
