Speaker Bio
Mike Scott is the Industrial Product Manager at The Modal Shop in Cincinnati, OH. He is also a certified category II Vibration Analyst via Vibration Institute. Prior to joining The Modal Shop, Mike spent nine years as an Application Engineer for IMI Sensors, the industrial vibration instrumentation group within PCB Piezotronics. His field of expertise is in the calibration, verification and troubleshooting of industrial vibration measurement equipment such as proximity probes, accelerometers, velocity sensors, 4-20 mA loop vibration transmitters, monitoring systems and portable analyzers. He presents at conferences worldwide. Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering form the State University of New York at Buffalo.
