Noise Dosimeters and Human Vibration Meters

The Larson Davis Spark series are the perfect choice for personal noise exposure sampling in the workplace. Weighing only 7 ounces, they are intrinsically safe data logging dosimeters with incredible battery life.

Various models are available with a full range of capabilities. Choose from basic dataloggers with no display, display-only units, and a ruggedized watertight unit.

All dosimeters rented from The Modal Shop include I2CU (Interactive Infrared Communication Utility) remote-response capability. Imagine reading data from individual dosimeters - even while being worn by the worker - from up to three feet away! Using the Spark 706RC companion dosimeter as a 'Master Controller', multiple dosimeters can be started, stopped, uploaded and reset - anytime, anyplace. Transfer individual tests stored in the master unit to a PC, and add unique descriptors and notes to each test - even as the still-deployed dosimeters continue to gather more samples.

703+	Fully featured logging dosimeter with remote response capability.  Complete report generation and setup using Blaze software.  Can be operated and (excluding LCD and keypad for maximum security) integrated by the 706RC.  1MB memory capacity and 100 hour battery life.
705+	Completely sealed in an extruded metal housing, with no controls or display to tamper with or damage, the basic model Spark 705 is programmed to start automatically and gather noise exposure data unobtrusively. Capable of storing up to fifty separate tests in a memory that can never be accidentally erased - even with the battery removed - the 705 creates a concise, one-page report with all compliance data and a clear graphical picture of noise exposure profile. 1MB memory capacity and 35 hour battery life.
706	Fully featured stand alone dosimeter with LCD, keypad and remote Complete report generation and setup using Blaze software. Can be operated and response capability interrogated by the 706RC. 1MB memory and 100 hour battery life.
706RC	Fully featured dosimeter with LCD, keypad and remote control capability. The remote control function allows setup and control of other remote response Sparks. Interrogates and stores data from multiple dosimeters and provides surrogate display for capability. 4 MB memory capacity and 100 hour battery life.
HVM100	Hand-held instrument for measuring human exposure to vibration, performing relevant calculations and providing overall metrics on its LCD display. Detailed vibration levels are easily stored in its built-in data logger, which can hold up to 100 separate time-history test files including all required metrics. This information can then be downloaded to a PC for analysis and archiving.
VibTrackHAVTM	Finger-mounted self contained tri-axial vibration dosimeter for personal exposure monitoring per the requirements of ISO 5349 / EU Directive 2002/44/EC and ANSI S2.70 / ACGIH TLV. The dosimeter is completely sealed in an extremely durable housing that contains the sensors, datalogger and battery – no wires or cables to snag or break! It is ATEX approved (pending) for use in hazardous locations, and can monitor continuously providing over 12 hours of exposure data.
