The new configurations offer standard 6 foot or 8 foot conveyors mated with 8 inch or 12 inch wide conveyor belts. These new standard configurations make it easy to find a system that is the ideal fit for your part size and production floor layout.
New models NDT-AUTO 0808 for the 8 foot conveyor with 8 inch belt, NDT-AUTO 0608 for the 6 foot conveyor with 8 inch belt, NDT-AUTO 0812 for the 8 foot conveyor with 12 inch belt, and NDT-AUTO 0612 for the 6 foot conveyor with 12 inch belt are available. Customized sizes are also available to fit your production layout needs.
All versions of NDT-RAM systems use an instrumented impact hammer and a microphone for quality assurance testing of powdered metals, forgings, and castings via the acoustic signature of components in a quick, cost-effective manner, allowing for fully automated quality control testing of 100% of parts in a production environment. With no part preparation required, this technique can successfully identify internal and external flaws due to cracks, voids, material density, dimensions, porosity and nodularity as well as missed manufacturing processes.
The NDT-RAM system is ideal for manufacturers or users of metal parts that have substantial inspection cost, require 100% inspection, produce or use safety-critical parts, have substantial scrap costs due to false rejects, or simply want to improve their part quality.
